SOLUTIONS FOR SWIMMING FULLY CLOTHED

Thinking about the grouse I raised earlier, I suppose some solutions ought to be offered. What can we do indeed?

1. Ban swimming in clothes totally, unless the person is wearing proper swimming gear.
2. Have separate pools for these people who so desire to swim in their wardrobe.
3. Fine them for disobeying the rules.
4. Reward those who do!!! A pinacalada by the poolside would be nice!
5. Have proper swimming gear available for sale or rent.
6. Make them wash the pool.
7. Tell them that exposing the skin to sun makes the body produce Vitamin D which will prevent osteoporosis in the long run (if you don’t get skin cancer first).

I know, I know, I sound bitter and grumpy. I doubt things will really change. The crux of the matter is the heart and upbringing. For that there is practically little we can do. You can try to re-educate till the cows come home but if it has been the way of life for them, there is very little likelihood of change.
