Of Angles, Sisters with Muscle and a Trophy

I watched the 'Anugerah Seri Angkasa 2006' on TV3 last night while ironing my clothes. A pretty lame affair actually...ho hum ho hum. Even Aznil as the co-host with a lady (don't know her name but she spewed lame jokes) couldn't lift the mood of the whole thing.

Some how it paled in comparison to, say, the Oscars. I don't know why. Maybe because the PM himself was present, so there were no naughty antics. Aznil was wholly subdued.

When they announced the category for 'Best Talkshow' , one of the nominee was the popular chinese talk show called 'Looking for Angels'. I have seen one or two episodes and I think it's pretty good. Apparently one of it's episode was nominated. And I was totally aghast when I read what was shown on TV when the nomination was read out.

It said "Looking for Angles : Two sisters with muscle and a trophy". I am like, huh?, something was wrong somewhere. Too often I have seen people spell angels as 'angles'. No wonder we don't see angels no more. And what the heck were 2 sisters with muscles and a trophy doing on a talkshow? To show case another 'Malaysia Boleh' episode? Maybe these 2 sisters took up body building, won a trophy somewhere and maybe even get to go to space!

I think, in my medically inclined mind, the real title should have read 'Looking for Angels: Two sisters with muscular atrophy'.

I think whoever was responsible for writing the title should be shot.
