Metamorphosis, on second thought

I have been taking about what I wrote earlier on this subject. I think I have erred. Now I feel that it's not so much a change for the worse that a person goes through; rather, I think that it's basically the unveiling of the real person. It's a change alright, but a change BACK to the original person. The facade of niceities is peeled away.

I have seen this often enough. A specialist I know is so nice and gentle to his patients and on closing the door after bidding farewell to the patient, he muttered curses under his breath. Sometimes we put on a facade, because it is required and expected in our line of work (or risk our names being splashed across the media!).

I think only your closest and dearest ones know the real you.
