Postprandial Somnolence

I am feeling it. The sheer fatigue and sleepiness that have become all too familiar after every on call duty. I just had a good lunch at Rumahku and now am sitting down to do a quick check on my emails (mostly junk). I can hardly keep my eyes open.

I think I will have to give up going to the gym after work later. The gloomy weather outside also rule out any chance of getting a quick swim (unless I want to be struck by lightning). In fact I am seriously contemplating giving up my gym membership altogether seeing how infrequently I actually go there. I am not seeing any result either....my morphology is still the same! :-P

I spent 2 hours with the medical students just now. They didn't come for rounds last night because:
1. 2 of them went to watch MI-III (so Mr Cruise won)
2. 1 of them slept early
3. 1 of them mumbled something incomprehensible
4. 1 of them didn't know there was rounds!

NONE of them watched Desperate Housewives! Ugh!

My throat hurt a little now; yours would too if you taught continuosly for 2 hours.

I just want to go home and sleep. :-)
