Palpable Tension

It's the exam week this week. I have friends attempting in just about every exam that is going on. The MMed Part 1 got over yesterday and the Part 2 will finish today. The Family Medicine Part 1 was finished yesterday as well. My friend and fellow trainee, CW, passed his Paediatrics Part 2 (way to go man! So happy for you!). I told him from now on, my kid's health will be his responsibility!

The MMed results (Part 1 and 2) will be released tomorrow. Even as I write this, my juniors are sitting for the short cases (in Part 2). I met a few of them just now, some were happy with their performances so far, others were a little downhearted. I can understand their trepidations. I have been there before. It's a horrible feeling; the uncertainty, the tension and stress can be overwhelming.

There is indeed a palpable tension in the air. By this time tomorrow, the stress would have been forgotten; let's just hope there will be a happy end to it.
