Answer to the riddle

A sea cucumber of course! And here is Sasheela holding one of them. When she crept behind me and landed one of those thing on my shoulder, I nearly jumped out of the water. It's like being touched by a soggy old leather shoe! Ugh!

There's a pic of me holding one of them too but it's not that nice, so I won't put it here. I had to really urge myself to be brave before I actually had enough courage to touch and hold one of them. It feels really weird holding it. Chinese love to eat these creatures (come to think of it, we chinese eat just about anything!) and malays revere it as a source of healing balm. They call it 'Gamat' in Malay. It heals just about anything (or reputed to, anyway); from simple wounds to fever to more complex diseases like diabetes, cancer or even AIDS (stretching it a bit there. Heh heh!)
