Fruits of Spring
Right in front of our hotel there were 2 fruit shops that open from early morning till nearly midnight. You can find just about any kind of fruits there, even tropical fruits! You can see a durian hanging in one of the pic below! There were even rambutans and mangosteens.
But what delighted us most were the strawberries (RMB 10-12 for a packet) and peaches (RMB 10 per packet). 1 RM is roughly equivalent to 2 RMB (or Yuan). So, it was really quite cheap. And the strawberries were simply big, succulent and sweet...not like the ones we get from Cameron Highlands!
